Min Trevor Kyi, OT, CWCE

Mr. Kyi is a Consultant Occupational Therapist and Director of Functional Outcomes Rehabilitation Services, Inc. His areas of expertise include: Functional/Work Capacity Evaluation, Cost of Future Care, Ergonomic Assessments, and Medical-Legal Critique.

He is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of British Columbia (UBC), Faculty of Medicine, Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. He teaches in the Master of Occupational Therapy Program in the areas of Ergonomics and Work Capacity Evaluation. He was the inaugural recipient of the UBC Faculty of Medicine Clinical Teaching Award for excellence in teaching. He is an active member of the Admission’s Panel at UBC for the Master's of Occupational Therapy program.

Mr. Kyi is also on faculty with Roy Matheson and Associates (RMA), out of Keene, New Hampshire. RMA is the most extensive teaching/training body of its type in North America in the field of Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE). He continues to lecture in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia in the field of Functional Capacity Evaluation. He is an international instructor of the FCE Certification Program as well as the Advanced FCE Program.

In addition to his Occupational Therapy degree, he holds a Post-Graduate Diploma through the University of Florida in Functional Capacity Evaluation. He is a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator through Matheson and Arcon systems of evaluation. He is a Certified EPIC lift capacity evaluator for strength-specific testing. He has also completed course work in Cost of Future Care Evaluation.

Mr. Kyi is a qualified expert witness to the Supreme Court of British Columbia, having testified on numerous occasions in the areas of Functional (Work) Capacity Evaluation, Occupational Therapy, Brain Injury and Cost of Future Care.
