Jodi Ann Fischer and Min Trevor Kyi continue to be involved in a number of teaching engagements and an exciting research project during 2008.
Ms. Fischer is offering a course on Life Care Planning / Cost of Future Care Evaluation on September 27th and 28th, 2008 in Toronto. Mr. Kyi continues to teach a course on Functional Capacity Evaluation in 2008. Please refer to the roymatheson.com website for further details on these courses.
Ms. Fischer and Mr. Kyi are pleased to be involved as co-investigators in a research project at the University of British Columbia with the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy investigating functional performance in the healthy population.
Along with their research at UBC, Ms. Fischer and Mr. Kyi are continuing to teach for the Faculty of Medicine, during the 2008 academic year. Ms. Fischer will be teaching Societal and Environmental Influences on Practice as well as the Life Care Planning module. Mr. Kyi will be teaching Ergonomics once again.
Jodi Ann Fischer and Min Trevor Kyi are both Occupational Therapists who are certified in Work Capacity Evaluation and Life Care Planning. Along with their clinical work, Ms. Fischer and Mr. Kyi are well known as educators in their field, both on faculty with the University of British Columbia and teaching annually throughout North America to other health care professionals.
